A class designed to prepare new parents for feeding their babies. The most inclusive class for parents who plan to feed their baby at the chest. Feeding your baby is the top priority in the first days and weeks of life with a new baby. There are many ways to feed your baby at your chest. You may be the birth parent and be making the mike yourself. You may be an adoptive parent or biological parent who used a gestational carrier.
The main goals of this class are to help you understand normal as well as the most common issues and how to recognize them. We want to to have enough information to be confident in knowing step to take take if things don't go perfectly.

Making milk: how it comes in, over and under supply
Latch: how anatomy of parent or baby can impact the latch, getting a good latch, what to do if the latch is bad.
